| Thirty years ago the asphalt industry needed an efficient way to heat liquid asphalt for the new parallel flow asphalt plants. Burke Heating Systems accepted that challenge. We designed and manufactured the direct-fired method of heating. The 80's demanded additonal heating and Burke again met the challenge with a new design helical coiled hot oil heater. The 90's have seen more and more additives and further evolution in handling various liquids. Now Burke has met that challenge with a Serpentine Heater and a "Rapid Rise" tank that can be used to raise asphalt temperatures at twice the rate of a normal tank. |
